Nature’s Bounty has made a supplement that covers more vitamins than what you might expect elsewhere.

Nature’s Bounty made the Complete Protein and Vitamin Shake Mix with women in mind. The product offers a full series of vitamins and minerals and is particularly helpful for improving one’s digestive health. The design of Nature’s Bounty shake mix also ensures you’ll take in what you require without having to consume more calories than what you can afford.

While it is true that much of the shake mix works for women, I found that the ingredients can work well for men too.

Let’s see how this product works and what makes it so useful for both men and women alike.

Cons

  • Does not have much collagen
  • Contains milk and soy
  • Does not have many calories for bulking needs

Nature’s Bounty Protein & Vitamin Shake

To start, we need to look at what makes this Nature’s Bounty mix so useful. I mainly found that the supplement includes 100 percent or more of several vitamins and minerals in each serving. These include vitamins C, D, B1, B2, B6, and B12 plus niacin, biotin, and folic acid.

The supplement includes a full day’s serving of niacin to keep the body’s cholesterol levels in check. Folic acid is also included to support the production of healthy cells, which comes in handy following a workout.

Digestive Help

The digestive enzymes featured in Nature’s Bounty mix entail two blends. First, the ProbioGuard probiotic blend includes 850mg of various probiotics, including Lactobacillus acidophilus (1). While this works for women to prevent vaginal yeast infections, it works for men and women alike by preventing the intestines from taking in more bacteria than needed.

The 200mg Digestive Enzyme Blend includes bromelain from pineapple sources and papain from the papaya fruit. Bromelain (2) reduces the swelling that occurs after a workout. Papain (3) is an enzyme which breaks proteins down into amino acids, which explains why the papaya fruit is used as an additive in meats.

Nature’s Bounty Important Ingredients

Nature’s Bounty supplement includes 3g collagen for helping to support the development of healthy skin cells. I found this inclusion to be interesting for how collagen keeps muscle fibers flexible. The 3g collagen total is minimal when compared with other supplements.

Meanwhile, the supplement also includes 60mg potassium and 105mg sodium for keeping the body hydrated during a workout. 220mg calcium makes up a good part of the product, although I feel that a separate calcium supplement should still be consumed alongside this one.

Each serving includes about 15g of protein. The protein blend features soy protein isolate and whey protein concentrate. My favorite part about the whey protein is that it includes cysteine, an amino acid that raises antioxidant levels.

The supplement includes 120 calories per serving. Each serving contains 2 grams of fat and 6 grams of sugar. Stevia extract is included as a sweetener. Stevia is a plant-based compound that does not influence the body’s blood sugar levels or cause spikes.

Allergen Points

Like many other nutritional products, this Nature’s Bounty supplement includes milk and soy ingredients. The good news is that the product does not have any preservatives, wheat, fish, or yeast ingredients. There are no artificial colors or flavors either.

How Do You Prepare It?

The supplement can be prepared by mixing two scoops of the powder with eight ounces of water. You can also mix the supplement with eight ounces of milk to produce a creamier texture. The added milk protein could help enhance the protein content to around 20 grams on average.

You can also prepare the supplement in vegetarian milk if you prefer. I prefer the drink cold myself.

What About the Flavor?

I tried the chocolate and vanilla flavors, the chocolate flavor is slightly more noticeable compared to vanilla, both dissolved very easily in water and milk. Mixing with milk Vanilla tasted a little more like a milder vanilla soy milk with a dash of rosewater.

What Is the Price?

The shake mix is available for $10.99.  The product offers about 14 servings, so that leads us to a total of 78.5 cents per serving. This is a very affordable product, but at the same time, the container is pretty small. Having to get two scoops per serving will make you run out after a bit.

Comparison

The Nature’s Bounty Complete Protein and Vitamin Shake Mix can be compared with various other products you can find. These include the FitMiss Delight Protein Powder, another product that is available for women. The product has 16 grams of protein in each serving and contains only 90 calories per serving. A full blend featuring various green and fruit extracts also enhances how the body can absorb nutrients.

The Cute Meal Replacement Shake is another option for women to review. The low-fat shake includes 10 grams of protein, but the most important part of the product is the extensive array of vitamins and nutrients that the shake has.

A third choice to look at is the Click All-In-One Protein and Coffee Meal Replacement Drink Mix. The mix includes about a third of your daily recommended serving of 23 vitamins and minerals. While this does not entail your full needs for these vitamins like what Nature’s Bounty offers, the Click product includes an extensive assortment of nutrients that are vital for helping you to stay active for a workout.

Conclusion

Nature’s Bounty Complete Protein and Vitamin Shake Mix is useful for men and women alike. This is a mix that provides the vitamins you need for your daily nutritional needs.

I particularly love how the drink mix is easy to prepare and offers a simple approach. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good supplement and not just something that men can use.
